Una sedia e un tavolo in legno, prodotti in falegnameria, con qualche attrezzatura tecnologica e molta passione nella progettazione, mi sono
fatto condurre dall’insegnamento, acquisito dallo studio dell’architettura, il dolmen e il menir per il tavolo, la trave rovesciata per le gambe a slitta
della sedia. I nomi sono in omaggio a due luoghi molto frequentati a Londra (Picadilly) e in Uzbekistan la città di Samarcanda, crocevia di scambi
tra oriente ed occidente. Entrambi luoghi di passaggio tra persone, cose e culture, riti che si svolgono quotidianamente, fatti da migliaia di persone,
ma tutti con la stessa familiarità, come il sedersi a tavola.
These are wooden chair and table, made in joinery, with some technological equipment and a lot of passion. For the design I got inspiration from
the knowledge acquired from my study in architecture, the dolmen and the menir for the table and the beam inverted for sled legs for the chair. The
names are in tribute of two busy location in London (Piccadilly) and the city Samarcanda in Uzbekistan, crucial points between east and west culture.
They are both places of transit, things and cultures, daily rite done by thousand people but all linked by the same familiarity such us sitting down around
a dining table.
